We needed a maternity session location...
After moving from South Carolina to the Atlanta Georgia area, I knew I had given up my beaches. But hidden gems like this waterfall in Dallas, GA were my trade off. What's fun about a waterfall encircled with a gorgeous green canopy? A session can happen midday instead of right at sunrise or sunset! This particular spot is amazing for its paved parking, GPS-able location, and quick walk down to the falls.
And of course, a great maternity session outfit idea;
I knew I wanted it a bit more meaningful than just a stunning location. I contacted an up and coming fiber artist in the Kentucky area who had connected with me via Instagram. I asked her if she felt comfortable creating a macrame dress. After selecting a beautiful rust fiber to contrast the black rock and green leaves of mid-August, Rowena of Mac & Ren set to crafting the ultimate maternity dress. Nervous about maternity session posing?
Some folks are naturals in front of the camera such as Siobhán and her awesome husband! But don't let that stop you from booking your maternity session. During your session I will guide you with prompts and posing, and maybe some hands on direction to ensure that your hair and dress are situated perfectly. Any insecurities are addressed with clever positioning and my knowledge of lighting and angles. Your only job? Relax and enjoy! We are sure to share many laughs and have an amazing time.
